Timothy E. Butts is a seasoned revenue, partnerships, and community-impact leader with more than three decades of experience advancing education access, workforce development, and mission-driven growth across nonprofit, academic, healthcare, and technology organizations.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Tim is responsible for building ethical, sustainable revenue models that align deeply with the organization’s mission. His work focuses on partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising strategy, and go-to-market execution—ensuring growth is achieved without compromising trust, transparency, or outcomes for families and students.
Tim brings extensive board-level and advisory experience, having supported education and community organizations in governance, revenue sustainability, and strategic planning. He has helped organizations transition from donation-only approaches to balanced, partnership-driven growth models, often delivering measurable impact and early ROI through focused pilot initiatives.
In addition to his executive leadership, Tim is a lifelong educator and mentor. He has served as a graduate-level faculty member and advisor at multiple universities, teaching and guiding students in project management, analytics, operations, and business innovation. His academic work reflects a deep commitment to bridging real-world experience with practical learning outcomes.
Community service is central to Tim’s career. For decades, he has volunteered with organizations such as INROADS and BDPA, mentoring youth, supporting STEM education, and helping create pathways from the classroom to meaningful careers. He is especially passionate about expanding access to education and opportunity for underserved communities and families.
