Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification available in the payment card industry. This means Stripe’s systems for storing, processing, and transmitting cardholder data are independently audited and verified annually.

The only payment-related data we retain in our own database are non-sensitive reference identifiers (such as a Stripe Customer ID or Subscription ID), your subscription status, and display-safe information like the last 4 digits of your card and card brand — which Stripe itself provides for UI display purposes only. None of this information can be used to initiate an unauthorised charge.

If you have questions about how Stripe handles your data, you can review Stripe’s Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy and their security practices at stripe.com/docs/security.
